Richard Morford is Managing Director Emeritus at ZRG, with more than 20 years of experience in retained executive search and deep expertise in the Industrial and Healthcare & Life Sciences practices. He has successfully executed numerous assignments for chemical and pharmaceutical companies across North America and Europe in a wide range of functions. He has particular expertise in developing candidates for cross-border searches where cultural fit is critical. Approximately half of his work has been for European and Asian clients.

In his current role as Managing Director Emeritus, Rich is part of ZRG's Performance Benchmarking team, which conducts client interviews at the conclusion of the search process to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities to strengthen delivery. His focus is converting benchmarking insights into practical improvement initiatives that deepen client relationships and drive strong outcomes.

Prior to his career in executive search, Rich spent 23 years as a business executive in sales, marketing and general management roles in the specialty chemical industry, primarily with European companies. During that time, he spent two years at the Rhone-Poulenc S.A. headquarters in Paris.

Rich holds a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from Brown University and an MBA in chemical marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Rich and his wife, Christy, reside at the Jersey Shore, where they enjoy golf, gardening and building sandcastles with their grandchildren.
